What we are About: During School Holidays the Beenleigh PCYC runs Vacation Care at PCYC Beenleigh, Mt. Warren Park State School, Ormeau State School and Norfolk Village State School.

Hours of Care: Vacation Care is open from: 6:30am to 6:00pm. We cannot accept children outside of these times. Children collected after 6.00pm will be charged an additional $10 for the first 5 minutes then $1.00 per minute for every minute after.

Cost: Vacation Care: $42.00 per child per day less CCB Full Week Bookings, $44 per child per day less CCB 1-4 Day Bookings & $48.00 per child per day less CCB Late Bookings. Notification of bookings will be sent within 2 days. Need to provide 48hours notice for ALL cancellations on normal program days and 7 days notice for incursion and excursion days.
FEES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE AND KEPT IN ADVANCE AT ALL TIMES.
Bookings: Booking Sheets must be completed in full otherwise bookings will not be accepted. Booking Sheets must be completed a minimum of one working day before children can commence the program.

Payment: Payments must be paid 1 week in advance before children can start the program; they can be finalised at the club by eftpos or cash or at the School Age Care services at Mt Warren S.S, Ormeau S.S and Norfolk Village S.S. A rebate will only be offered once notification is received from FAO; (this can take up to two weeks from when you link your children with our service). Full fees will be charged until notification is received. Your account will then go into credit and a refund will be sent out on request after close of the program.

What to bring: Children are asked to wear sensible, comfortable clothing (no singlets or tank tops). They must have closed in shoes (no thongs or sandals) and a hat; otherwise they will be unable to attend some of our activities. We ask that children do not bring money, phones, electronic hand held games or toys to the service. No responsibility will be taken for stolen or lost property.

What to eat: Children need to bring morning and afternoon tea, lunch and a drink. Please pack extra as children get very hungry. We have a healthy food policy and ask that parents please consider this when packing lunch for their children. The canteen is not open to the children for purchases during session hours. Lollies, chips etc can be purchased for children by parents when they are leaving the program. We have a healthy lunchbox menu available for a set price of $6.00; please see staff for an order bag.

Roll call: is at 9.00am each morning; we ask that parents have children at the club by this time. On excursion days children are required to be at the club by 8.30am unless otherwise stated. Parents bringing children in after this time are asked to locate a coordinator so that their children can be marked off the roll. This is required in case of fire or evacuation.

Excursions: An excursion permission sheet must be completed before children can attend. Children booked in must attend excursions. We operate within the licensing regulations and because of changes in ratio’s we are unable to provide alternative care for children on excursion days. 7 days notice must be given for cancellations to receive a refund. Children must be at the club by 8.30am on excursion days and they must wear closed in shoes, red shirt and a hat. They need to bring morning and afternoon tea and lunch and a drink unless otherwise advised.

Availability: We have limited places and once we reach our maximum places, parents requiring care will be required to put requested days of care onto a waiting list. Parents will be notified up to the morning of the program if a place becomes available.
