Community Job Plan-Work

The Community Jobs Plan-Work Placement is an initiative of the Queensland State Government. It is part of the Department of Employment and Training's Queensland Skills Plan 'Skilling Queenslanders for Work'.

Under Community Jobs Plan-Work Placement, community and public sector organizations receive funding to employ long term unemployed people, and those at risk of long term unemployment, for three to six months in a range of public works, community and environmental projects.

Just some of the work achieved on our Skilling Queenslanders for Work - Work Placement and Green Army projects. The projects are conducted to upgrade facilities for community/government organisations so they can be better utilised and widely benefit the community and families in the community.
